ROYAL DELUXE | “REVOLUTION” [director’s cut]
music video

Shmody and Clayton McCracken were commissioned to create a series of seven lyric videos for Royal Deluxe. The videos were to feature 3D animations of big cats running through a dystopian city cut to music and glitched to crunchy perfection. Shmody was in charge of the animation, while McCracken was to handle the editing and VFX processing.

Like many projects, this one took some turns in the midst of production and the glitches were ultimately cut. Still, we felt the need to see the initial vision through to the end. This director’s cut is a compilation of our favorite shots from all seven videos, cut to an original audio piece by McCracken and glitched to smithereens as initially envisioned.
