Shmody was approached by long-time friend and collaborator, Dylan Gephart to help produce a music video for Chicago rapper Jake Mela’s new song “DIP.” The video centered around Mela as he danced and swaggered around an abandoned warehouse and various other locations in Chicago. We used real-time image processing to give the already dynamic edit even more style and musicality—glitching and distorting to compliment Mela’s choreography.
